Jasmin Beach Resort

I was chatting with an old friend talking about the team building we had in Jasmin Beach Resort, Marabut Samar. It was one of the best team building we had. We are working in Tacloban that time, so we had to travel almost two hours by road. Take note from Tacloban you need to pass San Juanico Bridge to get to Samar.
Along the road a lot of wonderful rocks formation you can pass by
Not only that you will have a of chance to drop by along the road beaches for free.

And just in case you forgot to pack your own meal or drink you can always have a quick stop for refreshment.

Along the way you can pass by a lot of different resort like Caluwayan Resort, kinda costly there. The reason why we picked Jasmin because honestly Caluwayan Resort was over booked and did not prioritized our reservation so we end up in Jasmin. Whats best in Jasmin? Even if you did not bring a food with you they serve good food and inexpensive, they have a lot of rooms to choose from, they even have a conference room for seminar bookings but we went there to have fun  away from work. We enjoyed our stay there although was just 1 night and two days.

CATBALOGAN, Samar

Catbalogan, Samar located in Eastern Visayas, one of my so called HOME. I spent my younger years in this place I can remember where our family used to spend our Sunday morning at Rawis, Maulong.

picking these: yum! yum! with matching needles.

Every summer we always crave for something cold and sweet ( kakanin and halo-halo) at Tinas Garden.

And before going back to Davao we never ever missed to drop by at Charitos for "pasalubong".

Trisikad or trisikol (tricycle) whatever you wanna call it, is one of your main transportation in the down town area.

BURI, Baras one of the local beach near Catbalogan Airport

You are not a Catbaloganon if you dont know these:

ISLA RETA

Beach! Beach! Beach! Isn't it fun? Since I was small  I enjoyed going to the beach although I hate getting darker but the memories I have with my family and friends at the beach are all kept in my treasures chest buried inside my heart and mind.

Last year we went to Isla Reta one of the local resorts in Samal Island in Davao. The place is good, accommodation rate is right, food is okay, the water, the sun and the sand one of the best.

How to get there? must take a boat ride at Sta Ana Wharf  80.00php per head, 1:30 - 2:00 hour ride.

Reminder: Room Rate- must contact them, for reservation, they have 3 types of accommodation, you may select a TENT, KAWAYAN ROOM no fan and DETACHED ROOM with fan make sure to reserve early.
